keeping in view of persistent demand of the people of Sherghati, DAV College Managing Committee New Delhi puts its first step by establishing a temple of education named DAV Public School, Sherghati with the total strength of 145 budding talents in April 1993 in a rented building. At present the institution has its own arresting, palatial and commodious building spreading over two acres of land with serene locality and natural scenery in the heart of the town
The school is based on Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum. As we know “knowledge alone can make us perfect” and “knowledge is nothing but finding unity in the midst of diversity”. Hence in our school no efforts is spared to fructify the intuitive potential talent of child through the medium of Co-curriculum activities, Games, Arts and crafts, Music, Drama, Stage lecture and the use of modern audio-Visual aids and Computer under the guidance of qualified, experienced, devoted and dedicated staff.
